Our CAPS-aligned curriculum builds from a broad foundation in Grades 7 to 9 into a focused, choice-driven programme from Grade 10.

Grade 7 – 9

Languages

English (Home Language) and Afrikaans (First Additional Language), with a focus on critical reading, writing and communication.

Mathematics

Algebra, geometry, statistics and problem-solving, preparing learners for the FET phase.

Natural Sciences & Technology

Natural Science and Technology as separate subjects, building scientific reasoning and practical skills.

Social Sciences

History and Geography with a broader African and global perspective.

EMS & Life Orientation

Financial literacy, entrepreneurship, personal development and citizenship.

Arts & Technology

Creative arts and computing, fostering expression and digital thinking.

FET Phase

Grade 10 – 12

Languages

English (Home Language) and Afrikaans (First Additional Language), deepening language, literature and communication through to Matric.

Mathematics

Full CAPS Mathematics, Mathematical Literacy and AP Mathematics: from core numeracy to advanced study.

Physical & Life Sciences

Laboratory-based sciences with hands-on practical work preparing learners for tertiary study.

Accounting & Business Studies

Financial literacy, commercial thinking and the fundamentals of business in a South African context.

History & Geography

In-depth humanities study, understanding the world through African and global lenses.

Computer Applications Technology

Practical digital skills and information management for the modern world.

Life Orientation

Personal development, career guidance, health, citizenship and community engagement.

Subject combinations are selected at the end of Grade 9. Our academic team guides every learner through subject choices to best match their strengths and university aspirations.
